Quite proudly, the best there is! We go above and beyond the industry standard to ensure the data you access is as accurate and complete as possible by using a combination of multiple premium data vendors and machine learning algorithms that gather, check and cross verify publicly available contact data on a daily basis.
Yes, and we take this incredibly seriously. The biggest myth about the GDPR is that consent is the ONLY way to lawfully process personal information concerning EU data subjects. While consent is one basis for lawful processing, it is not the only one.
Swordfish's lawful basis for processing data is to empower users' fight against fraud online and verifying and authenticating online identities.
Swordfish is fully committed to the requirements of GDPR. Our legal and policy experts have closely analyzed the requirements of GDPR and continue to monitor new guidance on best practices for implementing the requirements of the GDPR. We have taken these new requirements to heart and made changes to our products, contracts and policies to ensure that we are fully in compliance with the GDPR. Swordfish fully complies with the GDPR as of May 25, 2018.
There is a difference!
Free credits give you some emails, general work phones and work addresses. Premium Credits give you all emails, cell phone numbers, direct dials, social profiles and age info on top of the free information. Why? Some information is priced differently from our partners. So sometimes are able to include these on our free plan, sometimes we can''t! We do recommend starting on our Starter Plan of 30 credits for a full test run to see if Swordfish is as good as we say it is!
Yes! Credits rollover on all plans. See pricing page for rollover period. If you cancel your subscription, your credits are valid until the end of the following subscription month.
All information Swordfish displays has been made publicly available either online or via a premium data partner. As a matter of fact, cell phone numbers, much like email addresses, are not legally required to be kept safe guarded. Simply Googling these details will not necessarily find the listed locations of such details, so we offer our opt-out as a method of removing you from our services if you wish to do so.
One credit gives you all the information we have displayed in preview form for a person's profile.
Once installed, the Swordfish button displays on the side of the page when browsing LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook and in the nav-bar. For corporate websites, the icon is available only in the navigation bar only. Click on the extension to check if data is available for the profile/website. Check Auto-Open for the extension to open whenever you visit a profile page. When Swordfish finds contact information for a profile, a preview of the details appears with "Show" button. Clicking "Show" reveals the full contact information is counted as using a credit. If Swordfish is unable to verify the details for a contact, "Show" will not display button and no credits are used.
Negative! Once you have "Shown" information, it is saved there for your viewing when you come back to that page, as well as across platforms. This means, if you go on Bruce Wayne's LinkedIn, and click on Bruce Wayne's Facebook, his information will be waiting for you in both places!
On the top left of your dashboard is a monitor with your credit usage including the date when new credits are to be issued!
Yes, our free version shows basic information such as some emails, generic work phones and work addresses. Only on premium can you view full cell, email, social profile and age data. We recommend our starter plan of 30 credits to try our full features.
